Service Description

It has been said that geography is the fifth gospel. The land itself shaped the events of Scripture in ways that most modern readers completely miss. None of that is background noise. It is the text. This course gives participants the geographical and cultural world of the Bible from the ground up. We move through the physical terrain of Israel, then zoom out to the major nations whose stories intertwined with Israel's. Participants will need a copy of Zondervan Atlas of the Bible: Revised Edition by Carl G. Rasmussen (available on Amazon) for use during this course.
